

Olympic Weightlifting is a competitive sport that tests the strength, speed and flexibility of athletes. It involves lifting a barbell loaded with weight plates from the ground to overhead.
Events:
Snatch
The weightlifter lifts the barbell from the ground to overhead in one continuous motion.
Clean & Jerk
The weightlifter lifts the barbell from the ground to overhead in two continuous motions.
Scoring
Each athlete gets 3 attempts in each lift. 2 or more white flags signal a successful lift. 2 or more red flags single a missed lift and that number will not count to the athletes record. The athlete with the highest total in each event wins! There will be a Winner for each individual lift and for the total.
